Jason John Gesser is born on 31 May 1979. He is a football former
coach in an American college and a former Assistant Athletic Director for major gifts at
Washington State University. He studied in Saint Louis School, Honolulu and played football for
Cal Lee. He even led the Crusaders to a state championship. He then won a second straight
state title and ranked as high as fourth in the national prep poll by St. Louis.
While in college
Jason Gesser played football at Washington State University in Pullman. He elected as a captain
for three consecutive years. From 2001-2002, Gesser led WSU to two straight 10 win seasons and
finished seventh in Heisman Trophy, 2002. In 2002 he named as a Pac-10 co-offensive
player of the year. During his career as a junior, he appeared in 40 games, with 35
starts, led the Pac-10. He was the first Cougar to throw for 3,000 yards twice and in 2001, he
led WSU Sun Bowl victory and Rose Bowl.
Jason Gesser is the only Luke Falk that is having the most wins
of any quarterback in Washington State history. He was inducted into the Washington
State University Athletics Hall of Fame in 2016 and ranked 9th of the top 12 greatest WSU football
players of All-Time by the Pac-12 Network. About his professional career, he signed by the Tennessee Titans
as an undrafted free agent in April 2003. He was a part of three premium league, National
Football League, Canadian Football League, Arena Football League.
He was the coach at Washington State. During 2006, he was a
quarterbacks coach at Federal Way High School. In 2007, he was an offensive coordinator at
Parkland’s Franklin Pierce High School. Afterward, in 2009, Gesser was known as the head football
coach at Eastside Catholic School in Sammamish, Washington. In this school, he coached the
Crusaders for two seasons. In 2011, he becomes a graduate assistant at WSU in Pullman. John
Jason Gesser was hired as the quarterback & coach at Wyoming in
February 2013, under the fourth-year head coach.
