Jason Gesser - The Famous Sport Person

Jason Gesser in Honolulu attended Saint Louis School and played football for Cal Lee. In his junior year, he was well known with a named to the all-state team and led the Crusaders to a state championship. In his high school year St. Louis ranked as high as fourth in the national prep poll. After high school, Jason Gesser played college football at Washington state university in Pullman. He is the only player who was elected as a captain in three consecutive years. Gesser led WSU from 2001-2002.

During his career, he appeared in 40 games, made 35 starts and led the Pac-10 in passing yards as a junior. He was the first Cougar to throw for 3000 yards twice and led WSU to a Sun Bowl Victory in 2001 and Rose Bowl in 2003. In Washington State history, he has the most wins. Later 2016, he was inducted into the Washington state university Athletics Hall of Fame.

Jason Gesser


Jason John Gesser is an American college football former coach born in 31 May, 1979. He is a former player, former assistant Athletic director for major gifts at WSU (Washington State University).

Jason Gesser was earlier the interim head coach, offensive coordinator, recruiting coordinator for the Idaho Vandals of the Washington State University. He played for Washington State University under head coach Mike Price. Gesser played for the Utah Blaze of the Arena Football League, Calgary Stampeders of the Canadian football league and more. By the time, he was originally hired at Idaho as running backs coach in June 2011.

In 120 years of Washington State Football, the Cougars have never had more success than they did in late 90s and early 2000s. Jason Gesser and his head football coach Mike Price combined their considerable talents to accompany in the Golden Era of Cougar football. They become the most successful coach in school history. They both won 24 games together. 

14 years later, Gesser presently works for the Cougars Athletic Department in a fundraising capacity, and the now-retired Price, find them back at Washington State together (WSU). In a halftime ceremony at Martin Stadium the WSU vs. Idaho game, they were welcomed onto the field as two of the seven latest members of WSU’s Athletic Hall of Fame.

Gesser and Price have traveled together as leading WSU to its last Rose Bowl Game were shaped with twists and turns, but the road has finally led them both back to Washington State, where the Cougars tribute them as athletic legends for all of posterity.In February 2019 Jason Gesser was hired as the quarterbacks' coach at Wyoming under fourth-year head coach Dave Christensen.

Jason Gesser


Jason Gesser has a historic and successful football programs and has enriched his college career by the leading, Cougars to two 10 win seasons that included a trip to the Rose Bowl. He also had a victory in the Sun Bowl. He is basically a perfect fit for the people. And the best part is that Jason Gesser considers WSU, a perfect fit for himself. Now he has a new role as an assistant director of the development team with the Cougar Athletic Fund. Jason Gesser has been facing his life with courage and since then he has been a successful player among many. The fact that he has been courageous all his life is a shining sign for most of the people.

Jason Gesser


Jason John Gesser is born on 31 May 1979. He is a football former coach in an American college and a former Assistant Athletic Director for major gifts at Washington State University. He studied in Saint Louis School, Honolulu and played football for Cal Lee. He even led the Crusaders to a state championship. He then won a second straight state title and ranked as high as fourth in the national prep poll by St. Louis. 

While in college Jason Gesser played football at Washington State University in Pullman. He elected as a captain for three consecutive years. From 2001-2002, Gesser led WSU to two straight 10 win seasons and finished seventh in Heisman Trophy, 2002. In 2002 he named as a Pac-10 co-offensive player of the year. During his career as a junior, he appeared in 40 games, with 35 starts, led the Pac-10. He was the first Cougar to throw for 3,000 yards twice and in 2001, he led WSU Sun Bowl victory and Rose Bowl. 

Jason Gesser is the only Luke Falk that is having the most wins of any quarterback in Washington State history. He was inducted into the Washington State University Athletics Hall of Fame in 2016 and ranked 9th of the top 12 greatest WSU football players of All-Time by the Pac-12 Network. About his professional career, he signed by the Tennessee Titans as an undrafted free agent in  April 2003. He was a part of three premium league, National Football League, Canadian Football League, Arena Football League. 


He was the coach at Washington State. During 2006, he was a quarterbacks coach at Federal Way High School. In 2007, he was an offensive coordinator at Parkland’s Franklin Pierce High School. Afterward, in 2009, Gesser was known as the head football coach at Eastside Catholic School in Sammamish, Washington. In this school, he coached the Crusaders for two seasons. In 2011, he becomes a graduate assistant at WSU in Pullman. John Jason Gesser was hired as the quarterback & coach at Wyoming in February 2013, under the fourth-year head coach.
